Traveling to the Philippines can be an exciting and challenging adventure. You could spend your whole time cuddled up in a 5 star hotel bed, slip out to a mall in a cab for some food and come back to watch cable TV. If that is what your looking for then yes you can do that in the Philippines but one would have to ask “Why?”.

Why bother to go and travel to another country if all you do is live in the same comforts as you do back home. When you travel it is much better to get out and explore the land. In the Philippines you can do a lot of exploring, you can find many adventures and wonderful sights. You can also have problems there too like they can be noisy with loud music playing earl hours of the morning even though this is not regarded as offensive there, it is regarded as sharing the music.

You can find a lot of annoying things in some parts of the Philippines. I know I found some cities to be dirty and polluted in parts. But it had great shopping malls and many nice people to meet which overrides the negatives.

You can go to the Philippines and have a great time if you plan your travel well and set a budget. You should also take care to keep safe and your possessions secure. As a foreigner, you should never flash your money around there or your jewelry. The reason is that extreme poverty exists there and some people are so desperate they might come and snatch your possessions from you in broad daylight. Just use common sense, don’t worry but always be aware and you will have a good trip. Most people are very nice, it’s just like anywhere, there is always the odd one.

Overall the Philippines is an exciting place to discover, there are plenty of islands that offer something for everyone.

Plan well and you should enjoy your Philippines travel.
